SUBJECT: Solar Eclipse Craze!
Hi everyone,
Did you guys catch the solar eclipse yesterday? We didn’t have 100% totality but it was still breath taking. I ordered eclipse glasses at the last minute because I didn’t realize it was going to be so hard to get them. I honestly thought I could run up to the local store and grab a pair. lol. So as soon as I saw there seemed to be a shortage I went to the NASA website and went down their list of recommended online retailers until I found one that had them in stock and could ship out to me in two days. The only option they had were 3 pairs for $59.99. I know, I know - I got ripped off but I had to have them or I would not have retinas today. Honestly considering they were shipped that quickly the price didn’t seem so bad. We only had around 92% (I think) coverage but it was incredible how quickly the temperature changed and even though we didn’t get complete darkness it got pretty dim. So wild!
I’ve been crazy busy with work and I need a vacation! I do think we will be at the Denver Bronco game on Saturday so I’m crazy excited about that. I’m still unsure about our quarterback but as long as we win I don’t care. ha!
