SUBJECT: Happy Hump Day!

Hi guys!

Just finished working out. I just realized the holiday weekend is coming up. I can’t believe I forgot. I guess I’ve been busier than I thought this week. Do you guys have any plans? It’s always iffy here when it comes to firework shows because we’re up in the mountains. I’m sure Denver will be having firework displays but I hate driving there unless I’m staying the night. Maybe since we’ve had so much rain lately we’ll get to have local fireworks but I’m guessing not. lol.

I’m off to find dinner. Have a great night and I’ll talk to you tomorrow.

SUBJECT: Happy Monday Funday!

Hi guys,

How was your weekend? It was toasty here but luckily not as toasty as some parts of the country. I’m so glad it doesn’t get crazy hot here. When the temperature gets over 80 I start to freak out. I’m not sure how I grew up on the East Coast. I guess when that’s the only climate you know and don’t have anything else to compare it to you can’t complain.

Jake and I totally got caught up in this show called “Missing Dial” over the weekend. There are not that many episodes but we watched it all the way through because the finale aired last night. It’s about a missing American hiker in the jungle of Costa Rica. His father hires his own detectives to go down and try to find him or find out what happened to him. You have to watch it. You think you have it all figured out and then BAM! You’re not even close. lol. I won’t say anymore but it’s really interesting. There are way too many shows on TV. We try not to get caught up in them or you’ll never leave your house. Jake loves all the survival shows like “Alone” and “Naked and Afraid”. A new one comes out each week it seems. We also love the gold prospecting shows and the living in the arctic shows. It’s getting ridiculous. haha.

Hi you guys!

I know I told you about my recent white water rafting trip so I wanted to share a few pics from the fun! These pics were taken from the company that ran the rafting company so I tried to grab a few that I thought were good. I look like a bobble head with my tiny head and helmet. haha! It was a great time. I’m still shocked I managed to stay in the boat.

Another crazy day today! Did you guys see the NBA Finals?? That was amazing! I’m so glad the Cavaliers won! I don’t even watch basketball but that was a fun and great game!

We went white water rafting on Saturday and had so much fun. I’ve got some pics I’ll upload tomorrow. Most of them the entire raft is covered in water so you can’t even see me. haha. We did the intermediate trip because I wasn’t sure how bad the rapids would be. I think we picked the perfect skill level. I managed to stay in the boat so I was happy. haha. It was so hot on Saturday (even in the mountains) that the frigid water felt good.

I have a ton of work to do so I’ll talk to you tonight!

TGIF!

Another week has flown by. I feel like I haven’t gotten anything done but I’ve been busy all week. How is that possible? I’m going to try and get into some trouble this weekend. hehe. I’ll let ya know how it goes!

Don’t forget Father’s Day is Sunday! I always send my dad food. That seems to make him happy. lol.

Looks like the entire country is going to be experiencing a heat wave so stay cool. I’m glad we’re up in the mountains or I wouldn’t survive. I hate heat!

Happy Monday!

Okay, so Monday isn’t normally a happy day but I’m trying to put a positive spin on it. At least it’s almost over! I can’t wait to see you guys tomorrow night at my live cam show! It’s gonna be fun!

The weather is gloomy today so it’s hard to stay focused. I want to be a couch bum and watch reality TV. That’s so bad! I’m easily distracted. lol. I also need to workout so that’s going to take a lot of motivation. You guys need to send me positive vibes to help me push through it.

TGIF! WooHoo! It has been so beautiful out and although I told myself I had to stay in front of my desk all day I took a break to do a little bit of work on our landscaping. It was hot but for some reason I find it therapeutic.

I’m still going through the gazillions of photos from our trip but here are a few from our vacation to Fiji. It was so awesome!

This was from the seaplane we had to take from Nadi (off the main island of Fiji) to the small island we would be staying at. The seaplane was probably 100 years old. I have pics of it I’ll share soon. lol

This was the view from our little house on the island. It was unbelievable. This was definitely a once in a lifetime experience for us.

My first breakfast on the island. The tide was out at that time. The water was usually up to where we were eating. We never had to wear shoes there because we were always in the sand.

This is me trying to get a tan. It obviously didn’t work. haha!

I seriously have hundreds of pics to share that are a lot more entertaining. I’ll get more up tomorrow. :) Sorry it’s taking me a while but a lot of the pics have family in them so I have to be careful. There might be some good ones I share but I’ll blur my family out. haha.

TGIF everyone!

It was a warm one here today in Colorado. I had to drive into Denver and it was hot! I like it cool. haha. I’ve been getting my vacation pics together so I can show you. There are 5 different cameras I had to get pics from. Everyone had a phone that I had to get pics from and we had two cameras and the people that worked on the island took pics as well. So I’ve got a million photos to go through. I’ll try and put some up tomorrow.

SUBJECT: It's Almost Friday!

Hi all!

The week is almost over! My body clock is almost back to normal from my vacation. I can’t believe it took so long to sync back up to mountain time! I guess when you’re on the other side of the world everything gets messed up. lol.

It was a beautiful day today but I had to spend most of it working at my desk. I did run some errands and it was so hard not to blow the entire day off just to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I think it’s supposed to be super warm here tomorrow. Yay!
