SUBJECT: Scary Outing Last Night

Hi guys,

How was your weekend? We’re hosting a 4th of July party for this weekend. I can’t wait! I hope to get into a ton of trouble! I hope the weather holds out for a nice cookout and booze. :) WooHoo!

You guys have any big plans? Vacation, etc?

Oh my god, I took Morgan (my dog) out last night and she never barks at anything. It was so dark and she looks up at the top of the hill and starts barking and growling like crazy. I couldn’t see or hear any movement so I started to freak out. I always take my big can of bear spray with me at night but I never saw anything. I was so scared and she wouldn’t pee! Ahhhhh! Finally I got her to do her business and ran like hell inside. So I’m guessing it was a bear, mountain lion or a human. She doesn’t bark at elk and deer. So tonight I’m going to carry two cans of bear spray. Ha! You can never be TOO prepared. Right?

I’ve got a ton of work to do so I’ll talk to you tomorrow!

SUBJECT: Happy Monday!

Hi guys,

Hope the weekend was a fun for ya. Looks like a lot of you experienced extremely hot weather. Eeeek. I’m so glad I live up in the mountains although it does get hot up here sometimes (but it’s a dry heat – haha).

I’ve been so busy and our house has decided it’s old enough that it wants everything replaced. It’s about 10 years old, which isn’t that old but everything is breaking. lol. I’m all about new things but I’d rather now pay for them all at once. It hurts less. Haha. Anyway, I realized I have some fun vids from the U2 concert that I want to share so I’ll get those up tomorrow for you. Just check here for links. :)

SUBJECT: Gold Panning. A Millionaire? Nope.

Hi guys,

How was your weekend? We finally had beautiful weather. Yesterday we went gold mining – woohoo! I found a flake that could possible be worth .0000000000001 cent. It was fun anyway but I had a lot of hope this would be my new retirement plan however I don’t think it’s going to be as easy as I thought it would be. Plus panning is basically squatting for hours and my legs hurt sooooo bad. We did go into a mine and chip off some ore samples with gold but you have to have it smelted, which no one does anymore. At least not in the United States so that’s not going to be very helpful.

What did you guys do? I hope you all down south are surviving the rainstorms. Geez, I’ve never seen such a disaster. Be safe!

I’ve got to get back to work but I’ll talk to you tomorrow!
