SUBJECT: Is There Gold In Them There Hills?

Hi Ya’ll,

It has been miserable here in the mountains of Colorado lately. Nothing but rain and cold. I don’t like it! I need warmth and sunshine. This is so not like what it’s supposed to be. ugh.

I’ve decided to become a gold prospector for my retirement. What do you guys think? lol. I bought myself a gold pan and it’s pink. I love it! haha, I’ll let ya know if I find anything.

SUBJECT: Rain, Rain, Go AWAY!

Hi Guys,

It has been raining like a mofo all week so much so that we can hear the rivers rushing near our home. We live on top of a mountain and of course the rivers are in the valley so that tells you how raging they are. Not only is the snowpack melting from the mountains but we’re getting an incredible amount of rain and it’s not supposed to stop until next week. I just hope we don’t get flooding again. Until then it sounds like we live on the river front which is very peaceful.

On Saturday we went to the “Furry Scurry” which is a fundraiser for homeless dogs in Denver. It was so much fun to take Morgan. She was chatting it up with all the dogs. haha. Here’s a pic of her cooling off in the stream on the pathway.

She’s so funny.

Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying warm and dry weather.
