Sorry I haven't been around. Our oldest dog hasn't been doing well so we've been spending a lot of time with her. It's crazy how a dog can impact your life. They really are the best.

Hi guys,
How was your holiday weekend? We had storms every day of the holiday. Of course today the weather is perfect! lol. Yesterday we spent the day at the doggy hospital. Our poor 12 and a half year old lab seems to have suffered a seizure which was horrible. She’s doing much better today but I’m so worried about her. She’s my first pet and I’ve had her since she was a baby. I do think our puppy keeps her feeling young. :) I’m staying positive.

The weekend is here and for us that are in the United States it’s a holiday weekend! Please be safe and stay out of trouble! Obviously I encourage naughty trouble but not illegal trouble. :)

Today was a rough day of training for our puppy. She has a problem with submitting and wouldn’t back down. I think she truly hates the trainer. lol. I know it will be worth it in the end but poor doggy! :)

It’s been super warm today so we tried to coax our puppy into her kiddie pool. Now remember she’s a Labrador Retriever so she should just dive right in but it was a lot harder than I thought. She did get in to grab a ball we threw into the pool but that was about it. I hope she’s still too young and that’s why she didn’t seem too interested.

Hope the weekend is going well for you! We took Morgan (our puppy) out to train this morning and afterwards went for a drive. We stopped to check out a couple of Elk and Morgan was amazed. I think she thought they were the biggest dogs she’d ever seen. lol. I took a couple of pics.

SUBJECT: Puppy Pics!
Hi everyone!
I hope the weekend treated you right! It snowed almost 2 feet here! It was nuts!!! Luckily it will all melt tomorrow and by the end of the week we will be in the upper 70’s! yay!
Here are some pics we took about a week ago of our little puppy Morgan. She’s growing so fast. I wish she would stay small forever. Anyway, I hope this isn’t overkill but I couldn’t narrow it down to just a couple.
The first one is our little angel chilling in the bed.
All of these are at a local park. She looks a lot bigger in these pics but I think it’s because you don’t have anything to compare her to when it comes to size. But she’s not even three months old yet.
The last pic is after her “photo shoot”. HaHa. She was relaxing in our Jeep while we packed everything up.

Yesterday we had a dog training session for our new puppy. She didn’t like being told what to do. She doesn’t like the trainer at all. He is a hardcore protection dog trainer so he’s really firm and strict. I hope he’s not too strict on her. I don’t want her to be afraid of us but I also want a well behaved dog. I’ll keep you updated on her “progress”, lol. I have a ton of pics I want to share of her but I haven’t had the chance to get them together and uploaded. I’ll do that tonight. :)

Hi everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend. Sorry I didn’t post in my journal yesterday. I wanted to get some pics together from the Ellie Goulding concert and I didn’t have a chance to. I was able to get them together today so here ya go!
All of these are cell phone pics so I’m sorry for the iPhone quality.
This is in the parking lot before the concert. It smelled like a pot factory. We didn’t even need to smoke to get high. lol. You can see how cool the park is. We love to go there to hike with the dogs.
This is before the concert started. Our seats were reserved which you would think would mean you’re closer to the stage but in the case of Red Rocks it’s back and higher up so you get the view of the park and Denver city lights. It’s really an amazing place.
Another before the show. The opening bands were not good at all. ugh.
I took quite a few pics during the show because it was so pretty. Oh and the weather was perfect! The first two pics were of an opening band as well.
These pics are from the Ellie’s performance. She was amazing and the show was great.
Oh, I don’t know if it was the marijuana making my iPhone high but there were several UFOs in my pics.
This last pic is from an Ellie Goulding’s twitter post. How cool would it be to see that from her perspective?? Ahhhh, the life of a rock star!

It’s almost the weekend! YAY! I stoked to be going to the Ellie Goulding concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater tomorrow night! I’ll take lots of pics and vids to share. I’m so excited! I think the weather is going to cooperate too which is awesome at Red Rocks. If you’ve never been there for a concert or just to hike you’ve gotta go. It’s absolutely incredible.
