How was your Memorial Day weekend? The weather was really nice yesterday – finally! Wanted to give all of you that have served our country a big “thank you”! You guys are the best and I luv ya!

We’re still taking care of our dog. She’s doing so much better but can’t play with any chew toys for 30 days. I think she may go crazy.haha. I don’t think Labrador Retrievers were meant to not chew on things.

Hi all!

Another day of running around and taking care of my doggie. I got my hair done today too. It looks so much better, all nice and blonde lol.

I can't believe it's already Memorial day weekend. You'll see me at home taking care of Sadie. She's doing great so I'm very thankful for that.

I've been out of the office all day running errands. I didn't even workout. Now I'm feeling guilty. lol.

It was nice out today but still chilly. In the low 60's. Still not bikini weather. Ugh. Maybe I van break them out in August? haha.

Hi guys,

We just got in an hour or so ago from our trip to southeast Colorado. Our doggie is doing well. Her face is so swollen. She’s on a lot of pain meds right now and you’ll probably see her crashed out on our bed on the voyeur cams. Poor baby. The doctor seems to think everything went well so we’re happy about that. Wow, what a crazy past seven days.

SUBJECT: Pics From This Weekend.

Hi guys,

I hope you had a great weekend! Our weekend was a sad one. We did go to the U2 concert on Saturday and I’m glad we did. The only problem is (which I totally didn’t even think of) U2s greatest songs are deep and slow. lol. So every time they would start singing one of their songs I would start crying. It was bittersweet I guess. It’s been so quiet here without our little Jack. Anyway, here are a few pics from Saturday. Oh yeah and the world didn’t end. Thank God! lol.

So this pic is from our hotel. U2 was staying there and I’m pretty sure they were on our floor but I can’t confirm that. haha. There was a crowd of people waiting for them at the hotel entrance and U2 was nice enough to sign autographs before they went to the stadium. I know it’s hard to see but I promise that’s them!

This of course is dorky me. haha. We got there a little early so this is before it was packed.

Today we’re headed down to Southeastern Colorado to take our other dog Sadie to a specialist. I know I told you we had gotten bad news about both our dogs and Sadie has cancer in her mouth. She is 9 years old so this is especially hard news after losing Jack last week. She will be having part of her jaw removed tomorrow to get rid of the cancer. The doctor seems really sure that this can be totally removed and it will never return and the surgery will have no impact on her quality of life. So, that being said keep your fingers crossed that everything goes well tomorrow. I can’t take anymore bad news!! lol. I’m feeling pretty good about Sadie so I’m gonna be positive.

Alright, I hate talking about negative crap so I’m done! I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Hi guys,

Thank you so much for the kind words. I still can’t believe he’s gone. He really was the best dog a person could have. How long does it take to not be so sad? I’ve never lost a pet before so this is all new to me. Wish they could live to be as old as us. lol. Anyway, thanks again for the sweet comments in my journal and all the amazing emails. You guys are the best. Sorry if you see me moping around on my voyeur cams. Just gonna take some time I guess.

We’re supposed to go the U2 concert in Denver on Saturday night but might skip it. Not sure if it’s better to go and get our minds off things or just stay in and remember our little friend. Maybe we should go. I’ve heard so many great things about U2 and we bought these tickets over a year ago. Hmmmm, not sure what to do.

SUBJECT: Cancelled Cam Show

Hi guys,

I’m cancelling my live cam show tonight because we had to say good-bye to our oldest dog at 3PM today. He was 16 years old and this has been a horrible day. Jake had him for the entire 16 years and I was with him around 10. His name was Jack and he was the most amazing dog anyone could own. He never left our side and never had any health problems. He developed a cancerous tumor on his back leg a few weeks ago and it eventually just took over his body. If you seen him on my voyeur cams he was the little brown dog. I never thought I would be so devastated by the loss of a pet but I am.

I apologize for canceling my show but I know you guys will understand. If you guys have pets give them a hug.

TGIF and Happy Friday the 13th!

I’m not superstitious at all so I’m guessing today will be a great day. lol, at least I hope so. It’s actually sunny and warm here today which is such a nice change. The snow is melting like crazy so everything is soaked. I’m not sure how the weekend will be like but I’ll keep my fingers crossed it’s going to bikini weather!

Jake took me out on a date last night in Denver. He took me to an amazing dinner and then the Chelsea Handler show. It was really funny. I’ve never seen her live before but I always liked her on TV. Her opening acts (the others that are on her show) were hilarious too! Anyway, if you get a chance to see her you should!

I’ve got to get back to working on the new site. If you see me banging my head against my desk it’s because nothing ever works when you need it to! lol.

Happy Cinco De Mayo!

You guys have your sombreros out? haha. I wanted to share some pics from my latest Mexico trip in honor of the Mexican holiday. I hope you like them!

The first one is of a temple in Chichen Itza. Can you see me? I'm the little dot at the bottom of the temple (at the center). That temple was huge. Still can’t believe people built that without any equipment!

Okay, now you can see me. Watch out, dork alert!

The vendors in Chichen Itza had all kinds of handmade souvenirs to buy. I found this to be my favorite. I wonder if the ancient Mayans really did use these? hehe.

Okay, another dork alert. Found this at a rest stop in Mexico. This sign made me giggle. Watch out for those bumps!
