SUBJECT: Yellowstone Pics!
Hi everyone!
I finally got my hair done today. If you see me on the voyeur cams you’ll notice I no longer have roots! Hooray!
I was going through some of our Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park pics and pulled out a few to upload. There are so many more to share but here’s the first of them. Hopefully I’ll get to those soon.
This is a dorky pic of me as we entered the Grand Teton National Park. I look a little rough as we had been driving all day to get there. :)
Our first night we stayed at a Lodge on Jackson lake. This is a pic Jake took as the sun was setting. They were really cute cabins but there was no air conditioning and no TV and no internet! We found out quickly that both National Parks are lacking all of those amenities and usually no cell phone service. It was a little tough for us technological dependent folks.

The next series of pics are from an encounter Jake had with a bear. I was watching from our Jeep as Jake decided to get closer to him for a “better” shot. What you don’t see in these pics is the moment when the bear decided to tell Jake to fuck off. He actually charged Jake but luckily (with his cool Marine Corp abilities) Jake stood his ground (along with bear spray at his side) and the bear slowly backed away. I seriously thought Jake was about to be mauled. I’ve never seen a bear charge like that and I was laying on the Jeep horn trying to distract the bear. We found out quickly why the bear was pissed. Jake got in-between a deer carcass and the bear. Apparently that’s a no-no. lol. Anyway Jake got some pretty incredible pics and I’m sure he’ll never forget his adventure.
