SUBJECT: Happy Thursday!

Hi guys,

Another day of slow going but I did get some things done rather than hang out horizontal all day. I am feeling much better and I’m hopeful that tomorrow will be even better. The Broncos are playing tonight and I won’t be able to indulge in the game food or yell and scream. What kind of game is that?? lol.

Thanks again for the sweet emails. I sooooo appreciate it. :)

Sorry to hear about the complications surrounding your wisdom teeth extraction. I had my own removed at a relatively late age--35--and had heard many horror stories from others beforehand predicting consequences even more dire than the ones you report. Prepared for the worst, I mercifully suffered next to nothing and was up and around in hours. In fact, the general anesthesia was--to this day--probably the best sensation I've experienced next to orgasm. Guess it's all in the luck of the draw....

Hi Hoosier, I think it is the luck of the draw. My surgery was a little more major than I think is typical. Obviously not heart surgery major but I think it was a little harder on my face than normal. lol. Anyway, thanks for the kind words. Glad your surgery went smooth!

I forgot to add, I even had them all removed at the same time--which others had also recommended I avoid--but I figured, if things might be as bad as they warned, I just wanted to get it all over with at once, since I might lose my nerve to go through it again.

lol, that's what I said. Just get them out!

In case you don't post a new journal entry before Thanksgiving, let me use this opportunity to wish you, Jake and all my fellow posters and members here a fine holiday. Let's all be grateful for Allie's delightful hospitality and wish her a speedy recovery so she can fully enjoy her own turkey!

Hi Hoosier, I'll be posting before the holidays but thank you so much! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving too. You're too sweet! Muah!
