I am going to my sister-in-law's house tomorrow for Thanksgiving. The rule in our family is that the host gets to set the menu. Sister-in-law does not like turkey. So she is serving spaghetti and meatballs.
(the other white meat. lol) This a first.

UH!! I hate being computer illiterate! I had to get a new scanner today, because the other one wouldn't work. The problem is that the old one had a place for me to put my memory card into, so uploading pics was so easy, but this one doesn't have that slot, so I am working on hooking the USB cable up to upload those halloween pics I promised you, but the computer is saying that it does not recognize the USB. I'm going to have to ask my hubby when he wakes up tomorrow. Thanks for being so patient with me. There are some good...well...naughty pics though! LOL!! I'm sure he will get it going. If not, I'm going to have to just go and get a disk made of the pics. I gotta get to bed now! I'll let you know when I get it working. Sorry it has taken so long, but I'm sure you and Jake will enjoy them!

Hi Allie, Jake, Jo, Valerie, Gregg, Hammer and all the rest of the gang. I'll wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving day. May you all stuff yourself with turkey (except you Jo - Green Bean Casserole for you my girl) until you are full to bursting point. It is not a festival that we celebrate in the UK. The only time we eat like this is at Christmas time. Our Xmas tree will be going up 12 days before Xmas as is the tradition here in the UK and comes down 12 days after.

Allie you will need to burn extra the calories off after all this eating - so as Jake will be still full of turkey, I am available as a substitute. Just give me the word I will be over on the next available flight. You can't blame a guy for trying!!!

I am trying to keep my spirits up but Gerry isn't well at all.

Anyway must dash work to do. It is 1115am here.
