SUBJECT: Elk On The Highway?
Hi guys,
Sorry I didn’t make a journal entry last night but we were out in the middle of nowhere and couldn’t get online. I miss you guys so much!
The wildlife here is so awesome. Yesterday we were driving through this small town and a herd of Elk were grazing on the side of the road and in the middle of the road. It was like they owned the town. I was amazed because they didn’t seem scared of anything. Of course I whipped out my camera to take pictures. I probably took fifty photos because it was so funny but I’ll just share one.
Isn’t that funny? Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see that everyday where I live.
I hope all of you are behaving while I’m away!
Have a great night!

Hey Allie,
Great scenery!!! I would be amazed as well to see that kind of thing (especially since they didn't dart away when they saw you approaching), but I guess they get used to human contact after a while. It really is kinda neat when you can get that close to nature. Just watch out for the more predatory type of critters too....
It looks like you two are having a ball. I plan to get back out to Denver (for some skiing) sometime this year, but don't know when. This will be the first time I have been there since 1989...definitely too long.
Keep having fun and travel safe!

Hey Allie where ever you move make sure it is too remote that you can't get your internet connection--LOL Hey Allie that just goes to show that you are soooo HOT that even the Elk are attracted to you---hehe LOL. I really miss you and hope you both have a safe trip home. I will say one thing in my travels with Ice Capades I really did love it out west---there is some really beautiful country out there. Take care beautiful lady. Bye. Love Always, Bob XoXoXoXo

Hi Bikinisharkcpa, Yeah, the Elk seemed pretty cool but I don't think I want to get close to any bears. :-) Bears are cute but I don't think they are very friendly. I love to snow ski and I plan on doing a lot of it once I move here. :-) Take care and thanks for the comment.
Hi Hammer, We have found a few places we are interested in so now we just have to narrow it down to one home. We are coming home tomorrow so we can figure out what we want to do next. Internet connection is a huge factor on our move. If we can't get high-speed access at a particular home we won't buy it. HAHA - I don't think the Elk were attracted to me. I think they thought I was weird for waving at them trying to get their attention while I took photos. :-) Thanks for the comment and have a great night!
